Dear Club President
Congratulations !!!
It’s indeed a great honor for me to congratulate you on the Installation Ceremony of your Club. Congrats to you as Club President along with your new team. I’m sure your club will take a greater height during your tenure with your experiences, leadership capability, and team work.
Rotaract, as one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, it has become a worldwide phenomenon bringing the young men and women ages 18-30 together, sponsored by a local Rotary Club and making them true ”partner in service” and key members of the family of Rotary.
The new team has lots of challenges ahead, but of course, at the same time there are huge opportunities. I believe, the new leadership will surely act in an optimistic manner to make better relationship in between Rotary Clubs and Rotaract Clubs, joining hands together, and specially focusing on joint projects for the development of the needy people of the community.
We had started with ”Building Communities, Bridging Continents” last year, and, here we are now to ”Reach Within to Embrace Humanity”, the theme given by RI Presidents. So, let’s remember the ”4-Way Test” also of Rotary and judge ourselves while moving forward as a true leader.
My best wishes to you along with your team for the successful Rota Year.
Yours in Rotary / Rotaract movement,
Rtn. Vishnu B. Karkee
Chairperson, District Rotaract Committee (DRCC), Rotary / Rota Year 2011-2012
